Disassembling Skeleton

Imagine that you are observing a disassembling human skeleton. You might see the skeleton as a solid, permanent object with a clear form and identity, yet upon further examination, you start to realize that the skeleton is not a permanent object at all. In fact, the skeleton is constantly changing and disassembling.

As you examine the skeleton, you notice that the bones are constantly breaking down and being absorbed into the body. Furthermore, some of the bones will turn into soil, and others will be used by plants for nutrition. You begin to see that the skeleton, like everything else, is subject to change and dependent on various conditions for its continued existence.

Realization of this emptiness can help you see the true nature of all things and the interconnectedness of everything. It can help you let go of any notions of solid and permanent identity and cultivate greater understanding, wisdom, and compassion in your life.
